PS2 BIOS Checker Autor: NBK Devs

PS2 BIOS Checker is a small browser utility for people setting up PlayStation 2 emulators who need to inspect a BIOS file already stored on their computer.

Select or drop a local BIOS dump in the extension popup. The extension reads the file in your browser and shows:

File name and size
MD5 checksum
SHA-1 checksum
A basic size check against commonly reported dump sizes (2 / 4 / 8 / 16 MiB)
Optional comparison against an expected MD5 or SHA-1 you paste
All hashing happens locally in the popup. The extension does not upload BIOS contents, does not include BIOS files, and does not require an account.

Use it to verify a dump before pointing PCSX2, AetherSX2, NetherSX2, or another emulator at it. Matching a common file size or checksum is reference information only. it does not prove a file is official, genuine, complete, or legal.
