No recovery phrase to manage
Create a wallet with Google or email, then save a Google Drive backup or a Recovery Kit. There is nothing to write down. The key is split three ways and is only ever put back together on your device. Our server never holds enough to move your funds.

Recovery that protects you
A new computer needs your sign-in, your authenticator app and your Drive backup or Recovery Kit, plus a 72-hour safety wait with alerts to your email and other devices. A stolen Google login is an alert you can stop, not an empty wallet. Still have another device with OpenWallet? Approve the new one from there, with no wait.

Built for the XRP Ledger
Hold, send and receive XRP and issued tokens, with RLUSD and USDC from verified issuers. Switch between Mainnet, Testnet and Devnet in one tap, and keep several accounts in one wallet.

Read what you sign
Every transaction is shown as one plain sentence with the full address, fee, total and network. OpenWallet checks the transaction itself and refuses anything that differs from what you were shown.

Sign in with OpenWallet
Sign in to supporting sites in one click: no codes, no QR, no password while the wallet is unlocked. A website learns nothing until you connect it: no address, no balance, no accounts. The Connect window lists exactly what the site will and will not be able to do, and look-alike sites get a red warning before you connect.

Agent wallets for AI payments (x402)
Give an AI agent its own wallet with a budget you fund and limits per payment and per day. It can never spend more than you put in, and every payment waits for your approval in OpenWallet. Pause it, top it up, or send everything back to your main account at any time. Connecting AI apps is moving to OpenWallet's new gateway and is not available right now.

Nostr signer built in
Nostr apps ask through the standard browser interface (NIP-07). OpenWallet shows which site is asking and exactly what it wants signed, then waits for you.

What it does not do
No analytics, no ads, no crash reports and no remote code. The extension talks only to the XRP Ledger's public servers, OpenWallet ID, OpenWallet's MCP server, Google Drive if you turn on Drive backup, OpenWallet's Nostr relay if you turn on OpenMailbox invitations, and a merchant only when you open and check a payment request. Nobody at OpenWallet can move your funds.

OpenWallet has not yet had an independent security audit. Use it with small amounts for now.
