My Start Page replaces your new-tab page with a customizable dashboard. Search, bookmarks, weather, RSS news, and to-do in one place. Move and resize widgets on a free-form grid. All data stays on your device—no analytics or tracking.
Features:
- Search — Use built-in engines (Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, etc.) or add your own via Settings. The search bar opens results in a new tab; it does not change your address bar or use browser search APIs.
- Bookmarks — Organize links in multiple columns with favicons. Drag to reorder; use the edit modal to rename columns and manage links.
- Weather — Uses Open-Meteo (no API key). Search for a location to see current conditions and a 5-day forecast.
- News — RSS and Atom feeds with tabbed views. Add feeds in Settings; Smart Add can detect feeds from site URLs.
- To-Do — Add, complete, reorder, and delete tasks. Show or hide the to-do list in Settings.
- Layout — Free-form grid: drag widgets to move them, resize them, and add bookmark columns. Choose layout width from compact to full.
- Settings — Control which widgets appear, set background (color or image), add custom search engines and news feeds. Access via the gear icon in the search bar or the ? in the header.
- Help — Short tips and a “Take a tour” overlay, available from the footer or via ? in Settings.
- Privacy — Data is stored locally on your device. No data is sent to third parties. No analytics or tracking.
