O tym rozszerzeniu
MorningstarTV adds quality-of-life tools to Twitch chat and the player, with configurable shortcuts, personal filters, emote controls and layout options. It works alongside 7TV, BetterTTV and FrankerFaceZ.
Blocked terms and users
- Filter words and emote names using plain text, FFZ-style wildcards or regular expressions.
- Censor matching terms as ×××, hide the whole message, or display matching emotes as text.
- Use the eye button to reveal censored content and hide it again.
- Pseudo-block users by censoring their messages locally, with an option to reveal them.
- Search your saved rules and sort alphabetically or by most recently added or edited. Reverse either order.
- Manage both lists from the extension popup.
Keyboard shortcuts
- C focuses chat; T toggles cinema mode.
- V opens volume entry. Type a number from 1–100 to apply it immediately. Enter returns focus to chat; Escape keeps the volume and leaves chat unfocused.
- R activates player refresh, briefly pausing and resuming playback before focusing chat.
- Alt+B switches emote menus; Alt+G opens Twitch’s GIF search.
- Alt+Up selects a chat message. Use Up/Down to move, Left/C to copy, Right/T to reply, or 2 to mention its author.
- Escape leaves the chat box while respecting open menus.
- Customize, clear or reset shortcuts in the popup. Plain-letter shortcuts stay inactive while you type.
Message gestures and sending
- Ctrl+click blank space in a message to reply.
- Double-click blank space to copy the message, including emote names.
- Optionally add changing invisible suffixes to repeated messages. Slow mode and moderation still apply.
- Automatically confirm Twitch’s offensive-language “Send Anyway” warning for messages you submit. This is enabled by default and can be disabled in the popup.
Emotes and GIFs
- Choose between Twitch, 7TV and BTTV emote menus when the corresponding extensions are available.
- Optionally display 7TV, BTTV and FFZ emotes without installing those extensions.
- Enable colon-based emote suggestions.
- Open Twitch’s GIF search directly. Twitch determines whether your account and channel can send GIFs.
Player, layout and backups
- Keep the standard volume bar or make it 2× or 3× wider.
- Use Clean mode to hide channel details and lower panels.
- Reorder, hide and restore supported channel buttons.
- Import and export settings, filters, blocked users and button layouts, with an undo option for imports.
Compatibility note
Older 7TV 3.1.27 can leave sent messages invisible until another message arrives. If affected, disable that version and use the newer 7TV extension, or enable MorningstarTV’s optional 7TV emotes.
Filtering changes only what you see. It does not moderate or alter messages on Twitch.
Privacy
No tracking, analytics or developer-operated collection server. Settings and blocked lists stay in your browser.
Optional emote features request public emote lists and channel IDs from the selected providers, and load emote images from their servers. GIF searches and selections use Twitch’s picker and its GIF service.
