Kiri: Pomodoro focus timer on every new tab Autor: Project Kiri

Kiri turns the new tab page into the one thing you actually need before you start: a timer with a defined end.

• Type what you are working on. It stays on the page while the block runs.
• Start 25, 50 or 90 minutes. Space starts and pauses.
• Close the tab; the countdown keeps running. The minutes left show on the toolbar icon, a notification marks the end, and a chime plays if a Kiri tab is open.
• Rain while you work, if you want it.
• Signed in to Kiri? Your streak shows in the corner and finished blocks count towards it.

Kiri is a desktop-only focus timer at project-kiri.com: nine long ambient soundscapes recorded and blended by ear, five binaural beats, and no phone app on purpose. The full timer is free; the add-on needs no account at all.

No ads, no tracking. The timer works entirely inside Firefox. Only if you sign in to Kiri and allow it does the add-on talk to your own Kiri account: it reads your streak and records finished blocks (length and the intent line you typed). The only other request is the optional rain sound from project-kiri.com.

To go back to the normal new tab, disable Kiri in about:addons.
