Just the Video — Hide Shorts & More on YouTube Autor: valentin.ste

Just the Video hides the parts of YouTube that pull you away from what you came to watch. Each one has its own switch:

• Shorts — shelves on Home and in search, the Shorts entry in the menu, the Shorts tab on channels.
• Home feed — the home page shows only the search box.
• Recommendations — the column of videos next to the one you watch.
• End screen — suggestions over the last seconds of a video and the wall of videos when it ends.
• Comments — the comments under the video.
• Autoplay — sets YouTube's own autoplay switch to off, so the next video does not start by itself. Turn this off and YouTube's autoplay is switched back on, if it was Just the Video that turned it off.
• Live chat — chat on streams, premieres and chat replay.
• Channel watermark — the channel logo in the corner of the video.

Changes apply at once, without reloading the page. One main switch pauses everything.

Just the Video is not an ad blocker: it does not touch ads, the player or your account, and it sends nothing anywhere.
