IssuePay Privacy Policy

IssuePay ("the extension") collects the following data to provide its service:

Data collected:
- Authentication information — your email address and encrypted authentication token, stored locally in the browser and sent to the IssuePay backend to identify your account.
- Browsing activity — the URL of the current tab, used to detect job offer pages and retrieve previously cached analysis results.
- Website content — the text, HTML, and metadata of job offer pages you choose to analyse, sent to the IssuePay backend to generate your ATS score.

How your data is used:
- Page content is sent to the IssuePay backend solely to compute your ATS score against your uploaded CV.
- Authentication tokens are stored encrypted in local browser storage using AES-GCM and are never shared with third parties.
- No browsing history is recorded or stored beyond what is necessary to cache your most recent analysis result for a given job URL.

Data sharing:
- Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
- Data is transmitted only between your browser and the IssuePay backend (issuepay.app).

Data retention:
- Cached analysis results are stored on the IssuePay backend associated with your account and can be deleted by deleting your account.
- Local browser storage (token, user profile) is cleared when you log out.
