Huepr Autor: Contrail

Huepr re-themes websites to match your desktop wallpaper, live, without reloading the page.

A small native messaging host (installed with the script from the GitHub repository) tells the extension when your wallpaper changes. Huepr then looks up the theme with the same name as the wallpaper file and sets its colors as CSS custom properties on the sites you added.

Requirements

Linux, Python 3 and the native host from https://github.com/Contraill/huepr (run install.sh). Built for Hyprland + Caelestia; any wallpaper tool can call huepr-notify.

Privacy

Huepr only gets access to the sites you add, makes no network requests and collects no data. Themes and settings stay in the browser's local extension storage.
