Hub Assistant Expanded Autor: american thor

Hub Assistant helps teachers complete common VAS PowerSchool workflows with in-page guidance, onboarding, contextual help, and PowerTeacher name-display assistance.

It runs only on the configured VAS PowerSchool sites and is designed to support teachers while they work in MyPowerHub, PowerSchool SIS Start Page, and PowerTeacher Pro.

Key capabilities include:

• Guided onboarding and walkthroughs
• Contextual assistance for Messages, Newsfeed, and other supported MyPowerHub areas
• PowerTeacher display-setting guidance
• Optional Vietnamese-name presentation based on roster data already available through the signed-in PowerSchool session
• Local storage of preferences and walkthrough progress so completed setup steps do not need to be repeated

Hub Assistant does not add advertising, does not use analytics or telemetry, and does not execute remotely hosted extension code.

PowerSchool page content, roster information, and names are not transmitted to an A.I MY-operated server. When the optional SIS name-display feature is enabled by the teacher, the extension may request roster data directly from the same PowerSchool origin using the user's existing authenticated PowerSchool session.

Final actions such as Send, Create Group, and Publish remain under teacher control.
