Gmail Canvas Dark Autor: Lobbyx3

Gmail Canvas Dark gives Gmail's content area a focused dark appearance while deliberately leaving your Gmail theme/background image untouched.
It darkens opened messages, Gmail settings, menus, dialogs, the Compose button and integrated chat surfaces. Light HTML email backgrounds are adjusted for dark mode while preserving images and strongly coloured sender-designed content.
Inbox thread lists retain Gmail's themed/translucent appearance, allowing custom Gmail backgrounds to remain visible.
Privacy-first by design: no analytics, no external requests, no account access, no storage and no data collection.
