- Ocena: 5/5Autor: mihai2, 4 lata temuEssential plugin, should be offered as an in-browser option for fullscreen behaviour.
- Ocena: 5/5Autor: Yashu, 4 lata temu(I've not tested the extension) - Thanks for tell me there is a way to do this without extensions!

- Ocena: 5/5Autor: Bert, 4 lata temuHow come this addon isn't more popular? I've tested all of the fullscreen extensions currently available (August 2021), and this one wins hands down.
Why?
It works reliably across all sites (except priviledged/protected pages) – some of the other extensions fail to work in some cases, not sure why.
The shortcut works reliably. Again, some other extensions use a non-customizable shortcut that is bound to other commands.
And, finally, it goes into the old-style, "complete" full screen (i.e. no title/url bars, just the main window).
Thanks! - Ocena: 1/5Autor: HJ, 4 lata temuThis add-on has broken FireFox for me. The browser is permanently stuck on fullscreen and I can't take it off. I removed the add-on and I still can't take it off fullscreen
Edit: I'm editing the review because I can't respond to the Developer otherwise.
Esc doesn't do anything in any tab, and the shortcut cmd+shift+I doesn't work, neither does clicking the add-on icon.
Edit 2: for anyone that gets the same problem as me, disable the add-on, then go here to force firefox to restore original settings (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings?redirectslug=reset-firefox-easily-fix-most-problems&redirectlocale=en-US)
Don't worry, bookmarks and add-ons are all kept, but all settings are default. So long as this add-on is disabled before the reset it won't be active after. It can then be removed without any more trouble.
Generally not happy though, have spent far too long trying to solve the problem, and permissions or not, I find the fact that the add-on could operate even without being enabled very concerning.
Latest version uses a shortcut which Firefox already uses to open the bookmarks library (shift+cmd+O) I think that's probably part of the reason it became impossible to disable.Odpowiedź autora
Data: 4 lata temuThat's unfortunate to hear. Possibly the website you were on captured your "Esc" key presses, the key that should allow you to exit the full screen mode. Have you tried switching to a different tab (Ctrl+Tab), and pressing Esc there?
Edit July 18, 2021: thank you HJ for explaining how you solved your issue, we hope no one else experiences it. The latest version should use the shortcut Shift+Cmd+I, it *previously* was Shift+Cmd+O (https://github.com/MarkTiedemann/fullscreen/commit/81f7c8a9701fe368bbe4acb4d638d330b667dbdd). You may have had an old version of the extension that caused issues. - Ocena: 4/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 14012911, 5 lat temu__ ENGLISH
Hello, is it possible to update your addon, can you make the windows task bar appear which is at the bottom also in full screen, when you hover the mouse the bar appears and disappears, like the tabs at the top .
Thank you

- Ocena: 5/5Autor: sojusnik, 5 lat temu
- Ocena: 5/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 6507270, 5 lat temuDoes exactly what it says on the tin - I'm now actually able to run Firefox in full screen on my Mac. I'd like it if there was the option to customize the hotkey to enter fullscreen mode, but that's small fries.

Data: 5 lat temuThanks for your rating! I have good news, it is already possible to customize the hotkey! By default this functionality is a bit hidden in Firefox, unfortunately.
Here's the process:
1. Navigate to about:addons
2. Click the settings gear ⚙ at the right-top
3. Select "Manage Extension Shortcuts"
4. Change the shortcut for Fullscreen
We'll try to make this more accessible & provide better documentation when we find time. Please check out this GitHub issue for full context, and a way to do the same in Chrome:

Data: 6 lat temuHey there! Did you try clicking somewhere inside a page first before using the shortcut or pressing the button to fullscreen? This might resolve your issue. It's a limitation of Firefox we can't work around unfortunately. If that's not it, we'd would love to hear more details about what exactly is not working so we can fix your issue. Feel free to contact thorgalle+fullscreen@gmail.com.- Ocena: 5/5Autor: jsommer, 6 lat temuI dislike that this is not a recommended extension. It works perfectly well and does what 10 minutes of web searching couldn't do.

- Ocena: 5/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 15430417, 6 lat temuRunning FF 70.0.1 on macOS Catalina, the config "browser.fullscreen.autohide" seems to have no effect if switching to OSX-fullscreen - even if set to "true" (which is the default). This Addon gives me fullscreen for the Tab I like and works like a charm. Thank you very much!
- Ocena: 5/5Autor: Thor Galle, 6 lat temuThanks Mark, simple and effective!
Does not work directly from everywhere (eg. when editing a Google Document, it captures keystrokes), but it will in 99% of the internet.
