Finding Writer does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no account,
no sign-in, and no analytics.


The only data the extension keeps is the finding you are writing: the text you type and the
CVSS metrics you select. It is saved in your browser's local extension storage so your draft
survives closing the tab. It never leaves your device.


Nothing. Finding Writer makes no network requests. It has no server, no telemetry, no error
reporting, and no third-party code that phones home. You can confirm this: the extension
requests a single permission, storage, and no host or network permissions of any kind.

• Clearing the finding, or your browser's extension storage, removes the stored draft.
• Uninstalling the extension removes its stored data.

The Firefox build declares data_collection_permissions: { required: ["none"] }, a formal
statement to Mozilla that the extension collects no data.
