Engram - RSVP Reader Autor: Ali Yigit Uzun

Engram lets you read faster by showing text one word at a time, right on the
page you're already on. Select any paragraph, article, or heading, hit the
shortcut, and it takes over — no copy-pasting, no separate app.

How it works

Click the extension icon (or press Alt+R on Windows, Ctrl+R on Mac) to enter
selection mode. Click the paragraphs you want to read, then press Enter. Words
appear one by one in a centered overlay at whatever speed feels comfortable
to you. A red dot marks the optimal focal point of each word so your eyes
don't have to move.

Controls

• Adjust reading speed with the WPM slider (100–1200)
• Scrub back and forth through the text
• Rewind 10 words with a single click
• Auto-continue to the next paragraph when you reach the end

Stops and checkpoints

Engram gives you the option to pause before headers and section breaks so you don't
blow past chapter changes. When it hits an image, table, code block, or list,
it shows you a preview and waits for you to acknowledge it before continuing.

PDF support

Open the PDF Reader from the popup, drop in any PDF file, and read it with a similar overlay.

Privacy

Nothing leaves your browser. Settings are stored locally and that's it.
