CopyPasta Only Text Autor: Zod Utility Desk

CopyPasta Only Text copies selected webpage text, removes formatting. and pastes cleaned text into editable fields. Use context-menu actions and keyboard shortcuts. Shortcuts can be changed in Firefox’s Add-ons Manager. A manual text workspace provides a fallback on restricted pages.

Preferences include ordered literal and JavaScript regular-expression replacements, whitespace and line-ending cleanup, optional paragraph/list-aware line joining, and preference import/export. Rules run locally in an isolated worker with size/time limits. Check transformed results before reusing important text.

Selected and pasted text is processed locally; CopyPasta Only Text does not send it to a server or store clipboard history. Required clipboard permissions are used only for your explicit copy/paste actions. Website access for cross-origin frames is optional. Firefox can block actions on internal or store pages; normal manual paste remains available. Desktop Firefox 140 or newer.
