O tym rozszerzeniu
Coocondiss automatically clicks the privacy-preserving option on cookie consent banners, so you don't have to. No "Accept all" by reflex, no banner fatigue — the most private choice gets picked the moment the dialog appears.
How it works
When a consent dialog shows up, Coocondiss looks for the button that protects your privacy most:
Reject all / Decline all / Refuse all — preferred when available
Necessary only / Essential only / Continue without — second choice
Accept — only if you explicitly opt into this fallback in settings (off by default)
If a known consent framework is detected, a dedicated handler uses the framework's own API or stable selectors for a reliable dismiss. Otherwise a generic scoring algorithm scans visible buttons by text, ARIA labels, and CSS class hints.
Supported consent frameworks
OneTrust · Cookiebot · TrustArc · CookieYes · ConsentManager · SourcePoint · Sourcepoint · Amasty GDPR (Magento) · ePaaS · Orest Bida CookieConsent · Mercedes CMM · europa.eu CCK · Allegro · CZ.NIC cookiebar · Shoptet (CZ/SK e-shops) · PragueBest cookies · Finstat · 365.bank · Teraz/TASR — plus a generic fallback for hand-rolled banners.
Multilingual button detection
Recognises reject/accept phrasing across English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Czech, and Slovak — so it works on GDPR-region sites in their local language, not just translated ones.
Iframe and Shadow DOM support
Many consent banners (TrustArc, Sourcepoint, others) render inside iframes or shadow roots. Coocondiss runs in every frame and pierces open shadow roots to find buttons.
Controls
A small popup gives you fine-grained control:
Global enable/disable — pause the extension on every site
Per-site toggle — disable on a specific origin while leaving everything else active
Accept-as-fallback — opt-in option to click Accept on banners that offer no reject path (useful for sites where the banner blocks all interaction)
Stats — see how many banners have been dismissed in this session and all-time
Recent dismissals — quick log of which framework was matched on which site
Privacy
Coocondiss does not transmit any data. All preferences, per-site overrides, and dismissal counts are stored in your browser's local storage only. No analytics, no telemetry, no remote configuration, no fetching of rules from any server — every detection rule ships inside the extension.
Permissions explained
<all_urls> host permission — required to inject the dismisser into any site that might show a consent banner
storage — to remember your preferences across sessions
tabs / activeTab — so the popup knows which site you're currently on for the per-site toggle
The extension is open source. Bug reports and patches welcome.
