• Local Storage: All user data—including saved vocabulary words, context snippets, extension settings, and API keys—is stored strictly within your browser’s local storage (browser.storage.local).
• Zero Telemetry: The extension does not track, log, collect, or transmit any analytics, browsing history, or personal telemetry to external servers managed by the developer.

When you request a definition or explanation, the selected text and surrounding context are sent directly to the AI provider configured in your settings:

• Google Gemini API: Processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
• Groq API: Processed in accordance with Groq's Privacy Policy.

Your API keys and text queries are transmitted directly to these endpoints via secure HTTPS requests and are never routed through any intermediate third-party servers.



You maintain complete control over your data:

• Saved words and context items can be viewed or deleted individually or cleared entirely at any time from the extension popup.
• Removing the extension from Firefox instantly purges all associated local data and stored settings from your browser.
