ColorText Reader Autor: baric

ColorText Reader makes long pages easier to read by coloring words the way code editors highlight syntax. Small filler words like “the” and “and” fade to a soft gray. Names and the starts of sentences get an accent color, and other words cycle through a palette, so your eye can move through text faster and keep its place.

Reading aids

Colors: word coloring with 8 schemes (Syntax, Candy, Sunset, Forest, Neon, Vapor, Fire, Ice)
Bionic: bolds the first half of each word to give your eye an anchor
Ruler: a highlight bar that follows your cursor so you don’t lose your line
Focus: dims everything except the paragraph you’re pointing at
Read Aloud: reads the page out loud and highlights each paragraph as it goes, with play, pause and stop, a voice picker and adjustable speed

Smart and unobtrusive

Picks light or dark colors on its own to match the page, or you can choose
Leaves code blocks, form fields, buttons and editable text alone
“Always On” mode applies your settings to every page and keeps up as pages load new content
A live preview in the popup shows each scheme before you use it

Privacy
ColorText Reader collects no data. Everything runs locally in your browser, and your settings are saved only on your device.
