Buddy Password Manager Autor: brandnewbyte

Fill logins, cards, and addresses from your Buddy vault, without the browser ever holding them. The extension stores no secrets of its own: it asks the desktop app you unlocked, over a local connection on your machine. Nothing is sent to a server.

Requires the Buddy desktop app
Install Buddy from pwbuddy.com, then pair from the extension popup. The extension is free; the app is paid, with a 30-day trial that needs no account and no credit card.

Filling
- Click the Buddy mark in a sign-in field to pick a saved login.
- Or click the toolbar icon, or press Ctrl+Shift+L (Cmd+Shift+L on Mac).
- Multi-page sign-ins, cards, and addresses all work.

Saving
Sign in with credentials Buddy doesn't have and it offers to save them; change a password and it offers to update. Nothing is captured silently.

Site access is yours
The in-page picker is optional: turn it on everywhere, or skip it and fill from the toolbar. Any site can be paused from the popup.

Open source
The source is at github.com/brandnewbyte/buddy-extension, and the build is reproducible — build it yourself and the package is byte-identical to what AMO serves.
