BrowserCord connects your web browser to Discord Rich Presence, allowing your Discord status to automatically reflect what you are currently watching or browsing.

The extension detects supported websites, reads basic page information such as titles and URLs, and sends this activity to a local companion application running on your computer. This ensures your Discord status stays up to date in real time while you browse.

A separate BrowserCord desktop application is required for this extension to function. The desktop app handles communication with Discord and must be installed and running in the background while using the extension.

BrowserCord does not require a Discord token and does not send your browsing data to external servers. All communication happens locally between the browser extension and the desktop application.
