This replaces the new tab with a to-do list and a gentle reminder to not doomscroll. The to-do list is stored in the browser's local storage, so it's completely private (neither the developer nor anyone else can read it) and it is specific to the device you're using it on. This extension also maintains standard newtab URL/search box functionality - focus starts in the search box, there's no URL you need to delete, you can immediately type a URL or string you want to search for, same as when using a standard new tab. No account or anything else required.
