Between 1password company that left their Desktop extension clients without any support for years and all the updates and the STRICT policies of Mozilla disabling and not allowing you to install old 1password extension (1Password-4.7.6.1.xpi) AKA 1Password 7 version I end up disabling Firefox Updates since version 130. That is the only way I can have 1Password 7 working with Firefox.

So this is now the new paradigm of open source and freedom where the Browser disables add-ons you rely on every bloody day. Thanks Fuckzilla

often pops up and seems like it saved a password for a site I use, but actually it doesnot save the password. I use 1password 7.

Unsure of the hate on this one. It DOES work on new FF. Maybe the reviews aren't updating the extension?

This add-on used to work great and I would've given it 5 stars. However, for the last couple months, it's been failing to open on both my laptop and my desktop whenever I open it after rebooting. It's to the point where I expect it to happen. Why I'm especially disappointed is because I get a pop-up to report this issue to the developers and I always send the report; however, after months of sending this report almost daily, nothing has changed. It gives me no belief that the developers care about their end-users and that's really saddening because I am a developer who cares about his end-users...

Made the mistake of having auto updates on. this extension no longer supports version 7 and a paid subscription is required to use the tool. Pointless now. Do not use.

It looks like they fixed the log in issue on firefox, at least for now. Will update again if it fails.

I had the old standalone version which worked Great until they stopped supporting it this fall and I was forced to get the subscription version. Now it takes almost a full minute for the extension to even offer me the option to enter my master password. It also has to reload the extension about every 8th opening so I concur with others who've said it does not work well with Firefox. I can only hope the developers are working to improve it with this browser. Once activated it is still a good password manager tool.

1password extension consistently fails to open on my Firefox browser.

Great app, no issues, no worries, it "just" work. Probably the best solution when you are working on several computers and need to "share" credentials between different OS (Windows, Linux & MAC).

Dec 13 2024...completely took over so I uninstalled, now my normal logins no longer work--both username and passwords...locked out of my bank, credit cards and brokerages..calling them individually to unlock
Anybody know of a registry edit to disable it?
