Biniguard-scam-blocker Autor: Biniru projects

BiniGuard is a privacy-first browser extension that blocks phishing sites, warns about
lookalike domains, and uses optional AI to judge suspicious products and deceptive
AI-music uploads.

WHAT IT DOES

1) Phishing block — hard-blocks known phishing URLs using aggregated public lists
(PhishTank + OpenPhish + Phishing Army). Over 140.000 domains, refreshed daily, checked
100% locally.

2) Heuristic warnings — detects typo-squatting (gooogle.com vs google.com), homoglyph
attacks (Cyrillic-paypal via punycode/IDN xn--), and risky TLDs. Soft-warn modal with
"continue anyway" option — no false-block paranoia.

3) SpecSense (optional AI judgment) — right-click any product on Bol, Amazon,
AliExpress, eBay or Temu — or any YouTube video — and BiniGuard asks Google's Gemini AI
whether the listing is honest. Catches fake-capacity SSDs, counterfeit specs, and
AI-music uploads impersonating real artists.

PRIVACY

• No tracking. No analytics, no telemetry, no fingerprinting.
• No data-selling. Nothing collected means nothing to sell.
• No ads, anywhere.
• No account, no sign-in, no email collection.
• SpecSense is OFF by default. You bring your own free Gemini API key (1.500
  requests/day, from aistudio.google.com). Page content is sent to Google's Gemini API
  only when YOU right-click and trigger a check. Your key stays on your device — we never
  see, store, or route it.

ABOUT AI-MUSIC DETECTION

BiniGuard does not flag "AI". It flags dishonesty. The rules:
- Green: "inspired by X" framing + AI disclosed = legit AI release.
- Yellow: AI disclosed in description but the title still presents real artists as
performers = confusing.
- Red: real artist names used as creator with zero disclosure anywhere = deceptive.

Bundled trust-list of 80+ verified label channels (Twisted Records, Hospital Records,
Ninja Tune, all auto-generated "- Topic" channels and more), plus a one-click "Trust
this channel" button to add your own.

Phishing block and heuristic warnings work on Firefox for Android. SpecSense uses a
right-click context menu, which is desktop-only.
