Terminus lives in your Firefox sidebar. A narrow rail of workspace icons sits beside your tabs, and clicking a workspace swaps your whole tab set in one go — the tabs you leave behind aren't closed, they're just hidden, exactly where you left them when you come back. Each window remembers its own workspace, even after a restart.

The part you'll stop thinking about (in a good way) is snapshots. Terminus can quietly save your workspaces, tabs, and window layout on a schedule, and one automatic snapshot from before startup is kept safe until you delete it. Restored tabs come back unloaded, so even a giant snapshot opens without loading a thousand pages at once. Restore everything, one window, or just the tabs you pick.

And a promise: Terminus has no account, no server, no sync, no ads, and no analytics. Your tabs are your business — everything stays in your Firefox profile, it never reads the pages you visit, and the only thing it ever downloads is a website's icon. The privacy policy spells out every permission and why it exists.

- Fixed removing workspaces and taking snapshots failing when tabs are in Firefox containers while container support is off. Snapshots now always record each tab's container
- When something is refused, the message now says why instead of a generic error
- Tab trees saved by older versions keep their shape: a top-level tab is never pulled inside a collapsed tree
- One damaged saved record no longer breaks the whole snapshot list; a damaged settings backup is shown so you can delete it
- Private snapshot files exported by early versions import again
- A container Firefox briefly loses track of no longer forgets it was a workspace's default
