SavePost is a browser extension that captures social media posts and lets you export them as PDF, HTML, or Markdown — in one click.
Open any Reddit or Twitter/X post, click Capture, and choose your export format:
Currently supported: Reddit, Twitter/X

- Save as PDF — archive or print the post
- Copy HTML — paste into Gmail, Outlook, Pages, or Word
- Copy Markdown — paste into Notion, Obsidian, or VS Code
- Copy Plain Text — paste anywhere

How to test:
1. Install the extension
2. Navigate to any Reddit post (e.g. reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/...)
or any Twitter/X tweet (e.g. x.com/user/status/...)
3. Click the SavePost icon in the toolbar
4. The popup will show a green dot and "Capturable post" if the page is supported
5. Click "Capture post" to extract the content
6. Use the export buttons to test PDF, Markdown, and HTML export
Notes:
- Only individual post/tweet URLs are supported, not feed or profile pages
- PDF export opens a new tab and triggers a print dialog
- Copy Markdown and Copy HTML write to the clipboard
- No account or login required
- No data is sent to any server — all processing happens locally in the browser
