Custom actions for selected text.
Here you can instantly go to another site and add the selection to the url
Completely open source at https://github.com/redtropc/rightclickstuffz
The default options are Domain lookup using whois.com and NameMC profile viewer
usage example:
Select the text "notch" on a website, right click, select the Right click stuffz menu and click NameMC, you will be sent to https://namemc.com/profile/notch
To customize: click the extension in the addon toolbar or select Customize...
You can import/export using JSON
Compatible with firefox 52 and above, but due to deprecation of sha1 you will need to manually add it on firefox 57 and below.
to do this: download https://github.com/redtropc/rightclickstuffz/blob/main/rcs-1.1.0_firefox52.xpi
go to about:config and set xpinstall.signatures.required to false
this is needed because firefox no longer signs for these older versions.
to convert it to firefox 52 yourself: right click "add to firefox" on this page, save as, save the xpi
extract the xpi
edit manifest.json and remove the data collection entry, and change "browser_specific_settings" to "applications"
select the files [NOT the folder], add to archive, and name it to .xpi and it should work now.
the reason it asks for download permissions is bc thats used to export the config lol, idk how else to do it. please let me know if you have a better way
tip for discord: to use with discord on firefox hold down shift before right clicking, this shows the regular right click menu instead of the discord override one
Personal suggestions:
Archive.org latest - https://web.archive.org/web/{selected}
Archive.org first - https://web.archive.org/web/1/{selected}
to do: PROBABLY dark mode for options page
other than that idk, some button to add presets would be cool but im lazy
maybe a better way to save config. the old method didnt auto download on firefox 52 and instead gave the json in a tab, so it uses download perms now. but at the same time i dont think anyone will use this so yea
