KBchess enables keyboard-based chess play using Home Row Notation (HRN), mapping board coordinates directly to standard QWERTY home keys (A, S, D, F, J, K, L, ;). By typing 4-character coordinate paths (starting and ending squares), players execute fast, unambiguous moves without a mouse. Screen coordinates remain locked so the bottom-left is always AA. Features include visual square labels, dynamic screen highlights, a quick reset key (Space Bar), and Pro shortcut keys for precise single-square adjustments.
