Clever Checker puts the whole cleverchecker.com toolkit in a side panel, so you can check writing where you wrote it instead of pasting it into another tab.

Select text on any page, right-click, and pick Clever Checker. The panel opens with your selection already in it.

• Grammar and spelling, checked as you type, with corrections you apply in one click
• AI-writing detection, scored sentence by sentence
• Plagiarism, matched against sources on the open web
• Readability, word and keyword counts, reading time
• Paraphrasing, humanising and summarising, written back into the field you were typing in

Nothing is set up and nothing is configured. There is no sign-in step and no server address: open the panel and press the button. Five checks a day are free without an account, and signing in on the website carries a subscription across to the panel.

The panel only ever sees text you select or type into it. It does not read the pages you browse, and it carries no analytics.
