Amazon Container Plus av otacoo
Amazon Container Plus isolates your Amazon activity from the rest of your web activity in order to prevent Amazon from tracking you outside of the Amazon ecosystem via third party cookies.
Metadata for utvidingar
Om denne utvidinga
Amazon Container Plus keeps Amazon and its associated services in a dedicated Firefox Container, so they can't link the rest of your browsing to your Amazon identity.
Built on the same idea as Mozilla's Facebook Container, the add-on automatically opens Amazon — and services like Audible, Prime Video, Twitch, Ring, IMDb, Goodreads, Woot, Zappos, Whole Foods, CamelCamelCamel, and more — inside an "Amazon" container that is walled off from your other tabs.
What it does
Privacy
Amazon Container Plus collects no data. Everything happens locally in your browser — nothing is sent to the developer.
Good to know
Amazon will still know everything you do while you're on its own sites and apps. Embedded Amazon content on other websites may not work, because you are only logged in inside the container.

Amazon Container Plus is a fork of krober/contain-amazon, inspired by Mozilla's Facebook Container.

What it does
- Automatically opens Amazon and 100+ Amazon-owned domains (all regional stores, Audible marketplaces, Twitch and its CDN domains, Ring, CamelCamelCamel, and more) in the Amazon Container.
- Opens links to non-Amazon sites outside the container, so normal browsing is unaffected.
- Blocks Amazon and Twitch tracking resources (scripts, images, embedded players) from loading on other websites when you're outside the container.
- Cleans up Amazon tracking cookies left behind in your other containers when the add-on starts.
- Removes known tracking parameters such as
azclidandfbclidfrom navigation requests. - Lets you add your own domains to the container from the add-on's options page (about:addons → Amazon Container Plus → Options).
- Respects container assignments you've already made with Firefox Multi-Account Containers.
