This extension allow to remove focus from embedded flash object by pressing Ctrl+Esc or Ctrl+F12 (see mozilla superbug: 78414) and move focus back by Alt+Esc or Alt+F12https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78414
Instead of Ctrl/Cmd+Esc and Ctrl/Cmd+F12 you can use single pressing of hotkeys:
These standard browser hotkeys will work as expected from browser hotkeys.
If single pressing of hotkey does not work then try double pressing.
(Ctrl+Key for Windows&Linux;
Cmd[Meta]+Key for Mac OS X)
With this addons you can operate with shockwave flash with keyboard and without mouse.
This addon conflicts with Flashblock. But Flashblock does not needed in new Firefox versions.WARNING: This addon eats you CPU!
Performance was improved in version 0.4 and was more improved in version 0.7 (in 0.7 this addon uses MutationObserver when possible). For normal CPU using I created other addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/En-us/firefox/addon/focus-regainer-lite/
. Focus Regainer is original and Focus Regainer Lite is a light-weight version, which require double pressing of standard browser hotkeys. But with Focus Regainer you can use single pressing of standard browser hotkeys in most cases.
NEW: Support for Mac OS X is added in version 0.3 and later. User fooby
used 0.2 version, about which he wrote review.
