MiniWebView Sidebar

Great, but leads to high CPU load Waardering 4 van 5 sterren

Still amazing -- however MiniWebView Sidebar leads to constant high Thunderbird CPU load in my case (Gmail in the Thunderbird Sidebar). Maybe this can be investigated by the developer?

--
Edit: thanks for the quick reply -- actually I get the high CPU load also when I disable that script and even when MiniWebView Sidebar does not display anything (is empty).

If I disable MiniWebView Sidebar, then I get like 0,5% CPU load for Thunderbird. If MiniWebView Sidebar is enabled (no matter if empty or with website inside), I get 15% CPU load (Intel i5-2500K CPU).

Correct Identity

Identity based on Folder not Account would be better Waardering 2 van 5 sterren

Unfortunately, the standard identity when COMPOSING can only be set based on Account, not based on Folder.

Folder Account

Can't use it unfortunately Waardering 2 van 5 sterren

Associating a folder with a standard identity is great for composing NEW mail. So far, the Add-on is perfect.

However, the Add-on overrides the standard Thunderbird behavior when REPLYING -- where Thunderbird beautifully chooses the identity, based on one's own mail address that the original mail was SENT to.

When the Folder Account Add-on is active however, it chooses the wrong identity most of the time when replying to an e-mail.

This problem applies when you use more than one identity in the same folder (e.g. when you have two work addresses and use both in the "work" folder, or two private addresses and use both in the "private" folder).

It would therefore be much better if the Folder Account Add-on would only jump in when composing NEW mail -- and leave Thunderbird to pick the correct "From" address when REPLYING.

Thanks already for consideration.

Search term highlighter

Great, needs only URL exclusion list Waardering 4 van 5 sterren

Amazing Add-On that only needs the possibility to disable highlighting on certain pages like for example on Gmail, because it keeps introducing color highlights in e-mails that are composed in Gmail!

MiniWebView Sidebar

Waardering 5 van 5 sterren

Still enthusiastic about Miniwebview-Sidebar (using it for a viewing a copy of Gmail).

Question: is it possible to restrict the Sidebar to a minimum width? Currently, it gets compressed when I open the Thunderbird folder tree sidebar.

MiniWebView Sidebar

Simply awesome! I have put gmail in the Thunderbird Sidebar which puts all email stuff in one place:

Thanks for the great work!

PS: a code snippet for scriptish that autohides the Gmail left sidebar:

@-moz-document domain('mail.google.com') {
body>div>div.nH>div.nH>div.nH>div.no>:first-child {
transform: translateX(-195px);
transition: transform 250ms ease 1111ms;
}
body>div>div.nH>div.nH>div.nH>div.no>:first-child+*>:first-child {
margin-left: -210px;
transition: margin-left 250ms ease 1222ms;
}
body>div>div.nH>div.nH>div.nH>div.no>:first-child:active,

KeePass Helper

Indispensable Waardering 5 van 5 sterren

Great for time tracking applications that track your time based on titlebar text!

FindBar Tweak

Review can be deleted, see respective discussion on the support page Waardering 5 van 5 sterren

As always, this add-on is great, in principle. One of the most important add-ons in my view anyway. However, and sorry for having to say that again, FindBar Tweak makes user editable text boxes on webpages almost unusable.

As soon as you highlight any text in an editable text box, FindBar Tweak goes completely crazy highlighting stuff all over the place. Even if you highlight one single letter only in a text box, every single occurrence of that very letter gets highlighted not only in the text box, but in the entire current webpage:

Sorry but this bug is pathetic, and I will continue to moan about it until it gets finally fixed -- still hoping that FindBar Tweak does not turn into abandonware after all because it seems that there has been no significant development and bugfixing since January.

Hoping for a fix which will make me donate a significant amount.

Prevent Tab Overflow

Not working with FF29 Waardering 1 van 5 sterren

FF19 with tabs in titlebar and Classic Theme Restorer: can't get rid of the Tab scrolling buttons

eCleaner

If you want to ruin your precious profile Waardering 3 van 5 sterren

then use this extension before you have properly read the description.

It lists ALL extensions options, not just deprecated ones. So it's very easy to inadvertently delete everything...

Content Scrollbar

Settings are not saved Waardering 3 van 5 sterren

Can't change the settings. Too many h-levels and respective scrollbar ballons.

LiveClick

has stopped working again Waardering 1 van 5 sterren

Abandonware, like so many great addons?

Oh well

Media Stealer

Excellent Waardering 5 van 5 sterren

...at least Media Stealer still seems to find stream urls in FF 28. Haven't tried downloading though, since the find stream function is all I'm after.

Find stream URL, copy it and play it (without downloading) in SMplayer or VLC.

Would be amazing if a button could be added that simply opens the selected stream in an external player.

Keep up the good work!

Bluhell Firewall

Amazing, thanks Waardering 5 van 5 sterren

BHF seems to block more ads than the big competitors, on the pages I frequently visit.

This is exactly the way software should be. Sleek, fast, and almost invisible -- yet functional.

Thank you Diego.

Right Links

Incompatible with Multi-Links addon, but only on some pages Waardering 4 van 5 sterren

...and sporadically. Otherwise good.

Mozilla Labs: Prospector - Find Suggest

Doesn't work, doesn't do anything Waardering 1 van 5 sterren

useless, doesn't do anything here (Windows 7, FF 27 incl. Findbar Tweak)

RAMBack

What? Waardering 1 van 5 sterren

how does it work? Is there a button to press somewhere? Where? Is it automatic? How often?

This is a waste of time.

Tranquility Reader

Adware Waardering 2 van 5 sterren

...that (stupid enough) places a floating fixed DIV on every page, killing scroll performance on older PC's.

Deze beoordeling betreft een eerdere versie van de add-on (1.1.2.1-signed).

LiveClick

Works, breaks, works, breaks... Waardering 1 van 5 sterren

This is a fantastic, indispensable add-on. Would be. If it worked. However, with every update of Firefoxʼ idiotic rapid release model, LiveClick tends to break and cease functioning. Therefore unfortunately, it has been a source of repeated frustration for me. (FF26.0)edit, ten minutes later:After installing v 1.0 from protejohnny's homepage, now it seems to be the turn of "it works" again.............edit, one day later: broken again
