Didn't know I wanted this function until I stumbled across it. There are so many links I want to follow on sites like lifehacker or the economist. Often I can quickly check them using InterClue, and if it looks like the page merits more attention then i will simply stick it in the link pad to be read later. The links are stored in the pad and nowhere else, so there is no need to cram things into the bookmarks if you're only going to visit the site once. I've been using this to complement Read it Later - I use that with offline mode to store things that merit serious attention and need to be referred to.
It would be good if the pad could be opened by simply dragging a link to the sidebar. Other than that, it's perfect.
I love this concept. I have tons of tabs open at once and love being able to sort them according to function. Unfortunately it caused conflicts with TMP and SnapLinks. If it wasn't for these conflicts this would definitely get 5 stars.
'Tab groups plus' is very similar, but with a couple of extra features. Same dramas with TMP and Snaplinks. Linkwad also does a good job but the look, feel and operation of tab groups just feels more natural to firefox in my view.
Essentially what I'd like to see is the conflicts with TMP resolved and perhaps some integration with that add-ons session manager (ie, diferent sessions could be saved and then opened as groups in Tab Groups.
