WhoGetsMyData shows which companies a website connects to while you browse.

Click the toolbar button to see, for the page you are on:
• every company your browser contacts, with the services it uses (for example Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel or Hotjar)
• which of them track you
• where each company is based
• a link to the free, detailed privacy report of the website on whogetsmydata.com

The number on the toolbar button tells you at a glance how many companies a page connects to.

COUNTED IN YOUR BROWSER
The add-on looks at which servers a page contacts and compares them with a database of more than 1,500 known services and 1,200 companies that comes with the add-on. Counting happens in your browser. You need no account, and nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to help (see below).

FULL PRIVACY REPORTS
WhoGetsMyData is a free privacy project. Every website report shows a privacy score, a cookie banner test in a real browser (what loads before a choice, after "Reject" and after "Accept"), all trackers and third parties with evidence, where the companies are based, and whether the privacy policy names the providers the website loads.

OPTIONAL: HELP THE PUBLIC DATABASE
If you want, the add-on tells our scanner which websites you visit, so that it can check websites that are not in the database yet and notice when a website adds trackers. This is off until you turn it on in the welcome page or in the add-on menu, and Firefox asks you separately for the permission to share browsing activity.

When it is on, the add-on shares for each website: its domain (for example example.com), the known services it contacted, other third-party domains it contacted, the version of the add-on and the kind of browser.

It never shares anything that identifies you (no ID, no account, no cookies), addresses of pages, search terms, page content, form input or when you visited a website. The add-on does not run in private windows.

Each website is shared at most once a day, not right away, and together with a few others picked at random, so that no browsing history comes together on our server. The server keeps only counters per website. You can exclude single websites and turn helping off at any time.

PERMISSIONS
• Access your data for all websites: to see which servers the current tab contacts. The add-on only reads which servers a page contacts and never changes pages. Request addresses are compared with the patterns of known services in your browser and are not kept.
• Access browser tabs: to know which tab a request belongs to and which website is open.
• Storage and alarms: to keep the counts per tab in memory and your settings, and to send waiting websites every few minutes, only when helping is on.

No analytics, no ads and no code from other companies. The package contains readable source code only.
