Thoughtmark Privacy Policy

Thoughtmark is built with a strict privacy-first architecture:
1. Local Storage: All your bookmarked passages, code snippets, notes, and conversation outlines are stored locally on your device (using browser local storage and IndexedDB).
2. Zero Personal Data: Thoughtmark does not collect, store, transmit, or sell personal identifiable information (PII), chat histories, or credentials.
3. Network Requests: The extension only connects to your active AI provider tabs (claude.ai, chatgpt.com, gemini.google.com, deepseek.com) to provide the bookmarking interface. Anonymous aggregate counters (e.g., total marks created) are transmitted without user identifiers or note contents.
4. No Trackers: Thoughtmark contains no third-party tracking scripts, advertising networks, or user profiling.
