TabVault Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
TabVault is a browser extension that saves and restores browser sessions.
This privacy policy explains what data TabVault accesses, how it is used,
and your choices regarding that data.
TabVault does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.
All session data is stored locally on your device using the browser's
built-in storage API.
- Saved sessions: Tab URLs, page titles, favicons, and session names you create
- Extension settings: Auto-save preferences, license information
- License key: Your Freemius license key (Pro users only)
If you enable cross-device sync, your session data is transmitted to your
personal Firebase Firestore database. This data is encrypted in transit
(HTTPS) and stored only in your Firebase project. TabVault's developer does not have access to your Firebase data. You can disable sync at any time from the extension settings.
