Focus Reader helps you follow an HTTPS article one sentence or list item at a time. Keep the original page and choose Soft veil, Reading ruler, Simple marker, Peripheral blur, or Raised sentence, or use Full page for a calm reading view without the source page.

Choose a mode from the toolbar or Firefox Android Extensions menu. Ctrl+Shift+F and the desktop page context menu reopen the last used mode. Move through the article with J and K. Full page also supports the arrow keys, mouse wheel, and swipe, plus a Full text view, theme control, and mode selector for returning to the source page.

Focus Reader works only when you ask it to read the active page. It saves only your chosen mode, on-page style, and strength. Article text, URLs, history, and reading progress are not saved or sent to a server. No account, payment, or external service is needed.
