Liner keeps lyrics, meanings, and translations in sync with the music you are already playing.

Open the side panel, start a track, and Liner follows along line by line so you can read without losing your place. The panel is designed to stay out of the way while still giving you the context you want.

• Precision timing
  Adjust the sync offset until the lyrics line up exactly. This is especially useful for YouTube videos with long intros, talk sections, or extended outros. Liner remembers the offset for that track the next time you play it.
• Meaning and translation
  Hover a line to see its meaning from Genius, or translate the lyrics into more than 100 languages. You can keep the original and translated text side by side or switch to translation-only mode.
• Built for the major music sites
  Liner works with YouTube, YouTube Music, Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, and Tidal.
• More than lyrics
  Save favorites, revisit song credits, search for alternate versions, control playback, and let the album art set the accent color of the panel.
• Private by design
  Liner has no server of its own. It runs only on the sites you allow and keeps your settings and saved data in your browser.

• Multiple tabs, done right. When music is playing in more than one tab, a
  Source picker appears at the top so you choose which tab Liner follows.
  Each tab is tracked independently, so the timer and lyrics no longer jump
  between songs when two tabs are playing at once.
• Live per-tab playback indicators. Each music tab now keeps its own playing
  state, so the equalizer animates on every tab that is actually playing and
  disappears immediately when that tab is paused.
• Service icons in the song view. The About section's listen buttons now use
  the same service icons as the tab picker, which makes the destinations easier
  to scan at a glance.
• Per-tab translation. The translation language is now remembered per tab,
  so different tabs can show lyrics in different languages at the same time.
• Live translation indicator. When lyrics are being translated, a progress
  indicator (with a 0-100% bar where available) shows that it is happening,
  instead of the lyrics quietly updating with no feedback.
• Refreshed, consistent UI. The Source bar, the Auto-scroll / Search / Sync
  toolbar, and the tab bar now share one clean segmented style, and every row is
  aligned to the same width for a tidier panel.
• Better version matching. "Other versions" now also searches by title alone,
  so the correct recording still shows up when the artist was mis-detected from
  the video title.

• Tidal support - added the Tidal web player (listen.tidal.com) to the
  supported sites.
• "Other versions" improvements - each alternative now shows a synced tag
  when it has time-synced lyrics, and the list is sorted by how closely its
  length matches the playing track (closest first, with a matching length
  highlighted) to make picking the right recording easier.
• Settings now shows the actual installed version number.

1.0.7 - first update since launch

• Translate lyrics into English. English is now selectable as a translation
  language, so non-English songs can be translated into English (previously only
  other target languages were offered).
• More reliable lyric translation. Lyrics that previously would not translate
  (because the translated line count did not line up with the original) now fall
  back to translating line-by-line, so the translation stays aligned. The source
  language is detected instead of always assuming English.
• Switching translation language now updates correctly. Previously, once a
  song had been translated to one language, switching to another kept showing the
  first - fixed by tracking which language the cached translation is for.
• Simpler translation controls. Removed the duplicate translate button - the
  header shows a clear "Translate" action until you pick a language, then a single
  translate bar takes over. The source label reads "Auto ->" instead of a
  hardcoded "English ->".
• Improved lyric sync on Apple Music (web player) - reads the player's
  progress position instead of the HLS media element's buffer time.
• Cleaner "no lyrics" screen. Removed the technical diagnostic text that
  showed when a track had no lyrics (for example, during ads).
• Added a "via Genius" credit next to meanings.
• Onboarding copy fix (removed a mention of a feature that did not exist).
