ExportMyMap — Privacy Policy

ExportMyMap reads the saved places you already have in Google Maps and turns
them into files, printable pages, PDFs and share links. This policy covers the
browser extension. The full policy for our website is at

WHAT THE EXTENSION READS

The extension reads your saved place data from Google Maps pages only while you
are actively using it on those pages. It does not read your browsing history,
other websites, or pages you visit at any other time.

CSV, Excel, JSON, GeoJSON, KML and GPX files are generated entirely on your own
device. Nothing is sent anywhere for those exports.

WHAT WE RECEIVE, AND ONLY WHEN YOU ASK FOR IT

Some features cannot work without our server. Each one runs only when you
choose it:

• PDF export and share links: the selected place data (names, addresses,
  coordinates, ratings, phone numbers, websites, opening hours, notes) is sent
  so the document or link can be produced. Share links are stored so the link
  keeps working.
• Country filter: the coordinates of your places are sent so each can be
  matched to a country. Coordinates are not stored or logged, and results are
  cached in your browser so the same ones are not sent again.
• Paid access: the email address you enter is sent so we can check whether a
  matching purchase exists and is active. It identifies your purchase; it is
  not a password and we never ask for one.

OPTIONAL DATA YOU CAN DECLINE

Firefox asks for your consent to technical and interaction data when you
install the extension, and you can change your answer at any time in Add-ons
Manager. If you decline, every export feature keeps working exactly as before
and we simply receive nothing.

That optional data is: a random installation identifier (not tied to your
identity), the extension version, browser and operating system, interface
language, which export formats you use and how often, and error reports and
diagnostics that help us restore compatibility when Google changes its pages.

If you send us written feedback through the extension, the text you type is
transmitted only after you separately agree to it at that moment. Declining
sends no text.

STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

Your email address, plan, access status and a cache of place details are kept
in your browser's local storage so you do not re-enter or re-download the same
information. Removing the extension removes them.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

Vercel (hosting and serverless functions), Supabase (storage of purchases,
share links and installation records), Stripe (payments — card details go
directly to Stripe and are never seen by us), Sentry (error reports, only with
your consent).

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising, profiling or
tracking you across websites. We do not share it with anyone beyond the
providers above.

RETENTION AND CONTACT

Purchase records are kept as long as needed for the purchase and for legal
obligations. Share links are kept so your links keep working. Technical data is
kept only as long as it is useful for compatibility and reliability.
