I installed in the previous version, FF 2.0 and it worked well, but not this time in FF 3.0 . Seems that there is some problem with the character coding .
Hope that this will be fixed soon. thanks.

Nice tool Waardering 5 van 5 sterren
Really nice tool. BTW, it might be better to add some simple "user guide" here, since "View -> Slide Bar -> CHM Reader" isn't that easy to find. I just found this path in above posts :-)Deze beoordeling betreft een eerdere versie van de add-on (0.2.1.1).

Mac OS X will be support
One of my friend has try to build a mac version. If there's no problem, a mac version will be released in the next two weeks.

BUt nothing happens, firefox opens a new tab but does not show anything on the page. what do i do? please help me.
Please disable SELinux
CHM Reader not runs on some distribution such as Fedora Core which enables SELinux by default. Please disable SELinux and try again.
Opening CHM Files From Nautilus Waardering 4 van 5 sterren
Pretty good plugin so far. If you would like to open the CHM files from Nautilus (the windows manager for Gnome), then right click on the CHM file and select "Open with other Application..." from the context menu.
The "Open with" dialog should now be visible. Select "Firefox" and expand the "Use custom command" option. Replace "firefox" with "firefox chm:%U" and apply the command by clicking the "Open" button.
The CHM file will now open in Firefox and any time afterwards when a CHM file is double clicked.
thank you ^^ Waardering 5 van 5 sterren
this addon and manoramosmz's comment just saved my life :)Deze beoordeling betreft een eerdere versie van de add-on (0.2.1.1).
Nice Add-on (if you know hot to use it) Waardering 5 van 5 sterren
I knew someone in the Mozilla community had this resolved. Thanks Mr. Li for your work.
I only suggest that you add a reference in the Add-on page on how to use it. Most people (including me) think that just double clicking the chm file will do the job (and we know that you have to go to the View --> Sidebar --> CHM Reader)
I really need this addon Waardering 5 van 5 sterren
Hope this addon can support firefox 3 as early as possible! because I can't use firefox 3 without this addon!Deze beoordeling betreft een eerdere versie van de add-on (0.2.1.1).
shell integration in windows would be nice Waardering 2 van 5 sterren
I'd love to be able to open chm files from windows without having to manually open them through the Firefox menus. Is there a command line switch I can use?Deze beoordeling betreft een eerdere versie van de add-on (0.2.1.1).

How to use Waardering 5 van 5 sterren
Reading comments, I get the feeling that some people may not using it right.
To open sidebar for CHM, go to View -> Sidebar -> CHM reader. Then either click on the Open CHM file icon on the sidebar or File -> Open CHM File.

PDF 是通过插件程序单独下载、显示的。PDF 也确实可以分页下载。以后会尝试实现下载后直接打开的功能。

Great extension Waardering 4 van 5 sterren
Great extension, lets you open CHM files easily on linux and lets you zoom CHM files on Windows, which the default CHM browser doesn't. The only thing on my wishlist would be to open the file directly through the file > "open file" entry, instead of having a separate file > "open chm files" one.
That's all, great extension!
Simple but nice Waardering 4 van 5 sterren
I like the idea of being able to read CHM files in Firefox. I have a suggestion though. If there would be a way to implement a contents bar and index search through the AIOS, that would be nice.
Also, is there a way that Firefox can open the CHM files via the context menu in Windows Explorer? If you could just right click and open the CHM in Firefox, that would be cool too.
All in all, this is a simple but nice little extension.
