Cat Care Notes is a private local notebook for up to five cats. A gentle cream-and-gray long-haired cat accompanies the interface. Give each cat a name, then record food, fresh water, litter-box care, brushing or a short standalone note. Each action is logged at the current time and appears in that cat's history.

The four care buttons show when each action was last recorded. Add an optional note before clicking an action, or save a note by itself. Notes accept up to 200 characters. Switching cats shows a separate history and last-recorded times. Rename changes only the cat's name. Undo latest removes the newest entry for the selected cat, which is useful after an accidental click.

The notebook holds up to 1,000 entries across all cats. It shows the newest 100 entries for the selected cat first, with a button to reveal older entries in groups of 100. At capacity, new entries are refused with a clear message; existing history is not silently discarded. Back up before clearing history or removing a cat through Manage.

Backup & restore displays the complete notebook as JSON. Copy it into a text file and keep that file safely. Restoring a valid pasted backup replaces the current notebook after you click Replace notebook. Invalid data is rejected without changing the notebook. Browser clipboard access is requested only through your Copy backup click; manual selection and keyboard copying are available if it is denied. There is no automatic file download or cloud backup.

Everything stays local to this browser. No account, sharing, reminders, analytics or external services. Times use your browser's locale. The notebook records what you enter; it does not prescribe a care schedule, assess health or offer medical advice.
