Threadwing keeps very long ChatGPT conversations responsive without deleting their history.

• Adaptive rendering retains the most useful recent context based on text, code, math, tables, and images.
• A measured virtual timeline can load the complete conversation, search every readable user and assistant message, inspect branches, and jump back to the original message. It follows only the active supported ChatGPT tab and clears stale conversation content on other pages.
• Search supports quoted phrases and focused filters for role, code, math, images, files, and the active branch.
• Safe apply preserves the current draft, selection, and scroll position during an intentional refresh.
• Export Studio creates deterministic Markdown, text, versioned JSON, a navigable self-contained HTML archive, or a polished print/PDF document. Choose all messages or answers only, portrait or landscape PDF, and Formal, Mint, or Monochrome appearance. The neutral Formal theme is the default. HTML and PDF contents include concise prompt excerpts. Selected ChatGPT images are embedded on demand and fitted to the printable area; headings, emphasis, fenced code, tables, formulae, and safe source links are preserved. Direct PDF renders formulae locally, keeps prose selectable, starts content on page two, and provides clickable contents plus sidebar bookmarks without visible Threadwing attribution or browser footers.

Threadwing is local-first. It has no backend, account system, analytics, advertising, telemetry, or conversation upload. Conversation data and its search index remain in extension-origin storage on your device.
