Every tab manager sorts your tabs by title and URL — but the reason you opened a
tab was never in the title. It was in your head. That's the part you forget.

TabNotes fixes that. Attach a note to any page — one line is enough:

competitor pricing, cite in Thursday deck
recipe — halve the sugar
bug repro, check again after deploy

Then find it again by searching what you wrote. Not by squinting at 30
identical-looking tabs.

TabNotes has no server, no account, and no analytics. Your notes are stored in
your own browser and never leave your computer. There is nothing to sign up for
and nothing to leak.

interface is available in English and Simplified Chinese.

BUILD INSTRUCTIONS

The uploaded tabnotes-0.1.0-firefox.zip is a compiled bundle produced by
WXT 0.21.4 + Vite. The matching source is in the attached
tabnotes-0.1.0-sources.zip. To reproduce the submitted build:

npm install          # honours package-lock.json (Node 22, npm 10)
npm run zip:firefox  # writes .output/tabnotes-0.1.0-firefox.zip

That is the entire build. No other step, no generated code.

NOTES FOR THE REVIEWER

The extension makes no network requests. There is no server, no remote code,
and no use of eval(). Everything the user creates is written to
chrome.storage.local and stays on the device. There is no telemetry and no
analytics of any kind.
data_collection_permissions.required is ["none"] for that reason.
The "tabs" permission reads the active tab's URL and title so a note attaches
to the right page, and lists the tabs in a window only when the user
explicitly saves a session.
There is no sidePanel permission in this build. Firefox uses
sidebar_action -> sidepanel.html. Chrome's side panel is a build-time
manifest difference in the same source tree.
