What we collect

Substack Notes Scheduler is a browser extension (Chrome and Firefox) with a minimal backend used only for subscription verification. We do not store your notes, drafts, or Substack session data.
Local storage

Your note queue, drafts, auto-post settings, and subscription status are stored locally in your browser using local extension storage. This data never leaves your device except as described below.
Stripe customer ID

When you subscribe to Substack Notes Scheduler Pro, your Stripe customer ID is stored locally in your browser's extension storage. This ID is sent to our backend (hosted on Vercel) solely to verify whether your subscription is active. We do not store it in a database — we query Stripe directly on each verification request.
Third parties

Stripe is our only third-party service provider. Payment processing and subscription management are handled entirely by Stripe. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

Substack session cookie

The extension reads your substack.sid session cookie to authenticate API calls to substack.com on your behalf (posting notes, fetching your archive). This cookie value is never sent to our backend — it is used only for direct requests to Substack's API.
