This is the privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) that governs how we, Stands Ltd. (“Stands”, “we”, “our” or “us”), acting on its capacity of data controller, use personal data (defined below) that we collect, receive and store about individuals in connection with the use of Stands’ web browser extensions, applications or add-ons (the “App”).
We have implemented this Privacy Policy because your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your personal data is collected and used in connection with the App. “Personal Data” means any information that may be used, either alone or in combination with other information, to personally identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, a personal profile, an email address, a home or other physical address, or other contact information.
This Privacy Policy forms part of our End User License Agreement (“EULA”) which can be viewed from within the App or on our website at https://standsapp.org/end-user-license-agreement/. Any capitalized but undefined term in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning given to in the EULA.
1. How do we collect Personal data and for what purposes?
We collect certain Personal Data from you in the following ways:
When you download the AdBlocker. We will obtain your IP address and device information for the provision of the services. The legal basis for collecting this personal information is the performance of the contractual obligations.
When contacting us. We will obtain your personal data when you send us feedback, or contact us for any reason. The Personal Data we collect may include your name and email address, and the contents of your communication which can include any information you choose to provide. We will only use that information for the purpose of providing the service or support requested. The legal basis for collecting this personal information is the performance of the contractual obligations.
Share with Friends. The App may enable you to share a link to the App on or through a third-party website or service such as Facebook (“Third Party Account”). The URL that you share with your friend through your Third Party Account will include a referral code. If the App is downloaded through the link you sent, we will be notified that you referred the new App user. This information will only be used to provide you with data on your usage of the App and to enable us to anonymously track referrals of the App. To use this feature you will be required to log in to your Third Party Account. We do not collect your Third Party Account information. Your use of your Third Party Account in connection with this feature is governed by the privacy policies of the applicable service provider for your Third Party Account. The legal basis for collecting this personal information is the performance of the contractual obligations.
Log Files. We may make use of log files. The information inside the log files includes information on the type of browser and operating system being used, the version of the App installed, the advertisements that have been displayed (the fact that an ad has been displayed, its size, the website on which the ad was displayed, the time the ad was displayed, who delivered the ad) and information about performance of our services for a specific user (amount of: ads blocked, tracking codes blocked, and popups blocked). The legal basis for collecting this personal information is the performance of the contractual obligations.
Browsing information: Stands will collect information about the websites visited by our users, search engine results pages, clickstream data, and information about the content that you viewed in order to ensure proper ad blocking. We also provide Browsing Data to third parties for their own use, such as for market analytics purposes. All Browsing Data is filtered to remove any personal data before it is processed and provided to third parties.

2. Disclosure of your Personal Data
To achieve the purposes mentioned in this Privacy Policy and to the extent necessary, we may also disclose your Personal Data to Stands’ agents, service providers and affiliates. These third parties may include, amongst others, technological and analytical service providers.
We may also share your Personal Data in order to comply with Stands’ legal obligations, court order or other legal process, to comply with a request from our regulators, governmental request or any other legally enforceable demand.
We may share your personal data with any corporate purchaser or prospect to the extent permitted by law as part of any merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or transition of service to another provider, as well as in the event of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which personal data would be transferred as a Stands’ asset.
If you are a EU resident, some of these affiliates and third parties are located in territories outside the EU/EEA. Therefore, we may transfer your Personal Data to territories outside the EU/EEA to a third country not being approved by the European Commission as a safe country for such transfer (adequacy decision). In these cases, Stands will use the appropriate safeguards, (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) to ensure an equivalent level of protection as granted within the EU/EEA or other lawful grounds for carrying out said transfer.
3. Data retention
We retain the information we collect as long as it remains necessary for the purposes set forth above, all in accordance with applicable laws.
4. Your rights
To the extent that you do provide us with Personal Data and depending on your location and the nature of your interactions with our services, you may request the following in relation to your Personal Data:
Information about how we have collected and used Personal Data. We have made this information available to you without having to request it by including it in this Privacy Policy.
Access to a copy of the Personal Data that we have collected about you. Where applicable, we will provide the information in a portable, machine-readable, readily usable format.
Correction of Personal Data that is inaccurate or out of date.
Deletion of Personal Data that we no longer need to provide the services or for other lawful purposes.
Additional rights, such as to object to and request that we restrict our use of Personal Data, and where applicable, you may withdraw your consent.
To make a request, please email us or write to us as provided in the “Contact Information” section below. We may ask for specific information from you to help us confirm your identity. Depending on where you reside, you may be entitled to empower an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. We will require authorized agents to confirm their identity and authority, in accordance with applicable laws. You are entitled to exercise the rights described above free from discrimination.
You may also access, review, modify and delete your account profile information by going to your account and editing your information.
5. Limits on your privacy rights and choices
In some instances, your choices may be limited, such as where fulfilling your request would impair the rights of others, our ability to provide a service you have requested, or our ability to comply with our legal obligations and enforce our legal rights. If you are not satisfied with how we address your request, you may submit a complaint by contacting us as provided in the “Contact Information” section below. Depending on where you reside, you may have the right to complain to a data protection regulator where you live or work, or where you feel a violation has occurred.
6. Links to and Interaction with Third Party Products
The App may enable you to interact with or contain links to third-party websites, products and services that are not owned or controlled by us (each a “Third Party Provider”). While the App contains certain features to protect you from collection of data about you by Third Party Providers, we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these Third Party Providers and the Third Party Provider may collect Personal Data from you. Accordingly, we encourage you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of each Third Party Provider that you choose to use or interact with.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is not structured to attract children under the age of 16 years. Accordingly, we do not intend to collect Personal Data from anyone we know to be under 16 years. If we learn that we have collected Personal Data from a child under 16 years, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. 8. Security
The security of Personal Data is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards, including the use of appropriate administrative, physical and technical safeguards, to protect the Personal Information submitted to us. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security or confidentiality. 9. Our California Do Not Track Notice
We do not currently respond or take any action with respect to web browser “do not track” signals or other mechanisms that provide consumers the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of personally identifiable information about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across third-party web sites or online services. We may allow third parties, including companies that provide us with analytics tools, to collect personally identifiable information about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across different websites when a consumer uses the App.
