Ever spent ten minutes filling out a long form, only to accidentally close the tab or hit Back? Scaffold fixes that quietly, without getting in your way.

As you type, Scaffold saves each field automatically. When you return to the page, a slim bar appears at the bottom — telling you how many drafts are saved and how long ago. One click restores everything.

WHAT IT DOES

✦ Auto-saves text fields as you type — 900ms after you stop, silently in the background
✦ Restore bar appears on return — shows draft count and age, with a single "Restore all" button
✦ Per-field chip on focus — when you click an empty field that has a saved draft, a small prompt lets you restore just that one field
✦ Draft indicator — a subtle green left glow marks fields with saved content
✦ Works everywhere — plain inputs, textareas, and contenteditable fields across all websites
✦ MutationObserver support — catches dynamically loaded fields in single-page apps

GETTING STARTED

1. Install Scaffold — it starts working immediately, no configuration needed
2. Fill out any form on any website
3. Leave the page (or close the tab and come back)
4. The restore bar appears at the bottom — click "Restore all" to recover your drafts

⚙️ SETTINGS

→ Toggle on/off from the toolbar popup
→ Choose how long drafts are kept: 1, 3, 7, 14, or 30 days
→ View how many pages and fields currently have saved drafts
→ Clear all drafts at any time with one click

🔒 YOUR PRIVACY

Scaffold never contacts any server. All drafts are stored locally in your browser using the standard storage API and never leave your device. No analytics, no tracking, no accounts.

Passwords, file inputs, and search fields are intentionally skipped.
