Keyfill – Text Expander (no account, offline) av Keyfill

Stop typing the same replies, addresses and signatures over and over.

How it works
• Create a snippet: shortcut ;addr → your full address.
• Type ;addr in any text box – it instantly turns into the full text.
• Works in normal inputs, text areas and rich text editors (tested with Quill, ProseMirror and Lexical).

Why Keyfill
• No account, no sign-up, no subscription.
• Private: snippets are stored only in your browser (storage.local). Nothing is sent to any server. No analytics.
• Placeholders: {date}, {iso}, {time}, {cursor}.
• Import from CSV (shortcut, text) – most text expanders can export to CSV. Export to JSON for backup.
• Never expands in password fields.

Permissions
• "Access your data for all websites" – needed to notice when you type a shortcut in a text box. Keyfill reads only the text right before your cursor, and only to check for a shortcut.
• "Storage" – to save your snippets in this browser.
