Keep Web Clipper: Save Anything to Markdown av Ian Nuttall

Keep Web Clipper saves useful web content as clean Markdown. Clip an article,
link, video, PDF, image, or any page you want to keep. Review the result before
you save it to Keep, copy it, or download a .md file.

Open the clipper to check the title and Markdown preview. You can edit the
title, author, date, site, description, tags, collection, notes, and captured
Markdown before it reaches your library.

Keep Web Clipper stores readable content instead of relying on the original
page to stay online. Your saved pages remain searchable in Keep and available
for export.


Select text on a page and open the clipper. The selected passage stays attached
to the saved page. Add a note to record why you kept it.


Copy captured Markdown to the clipboard or download it as a .md file without
saving it to Keep. This gives you a portable copy for your notes, editor, or
local files.


Use the toolbar popup, a keyboard shortcut, or the right-click menu. You can
save the current tab, save every open tab, or keep a link without opening it.

Keyboard shortcuts:

• Save the current tab: Cmd+Shift+K on macOS or Ctrl+Shift+K elsewhere
• Save all tabs: Cmd+Shift+L on macOS or Ctrl+Shift+L elsewhere

The extension has no advertising trackers. It sends the page details and
content you choose to capture to your Keep account over HTTPS. Read the privacy
