DEEPVEIN is a mining progression game that lives in your Firefox toolbar popup. Strike the seam, fill the freight lift, ship ore and reinvest in a growing underground operation. Its animated pixel-art cross-section shows a timber headframe, mine galleries, carts and working miners.

Start with manual strikes and your first crew member. Better tools increase strike power and crew speed. A larger lift holds more ore. A refinery increases shipment value and unlocks automatic shipping, letting a staffed mine keep earning until you return.

Extend the shaft through eighteen strata and discover six minerals: coal, copper, iron, silver, sapphire and aurorite. Deeper mineral groups are harder to extract but produce larger, more valuable hauls. Production contracts offer additional coin rewards at six milestones.

At stratum twelve or deeper, choose a new expedition. Coins, crew, equipment, shaft progress and contracts restart; your discovered-mineral collection remains, and permanent research improves future digging power. Research is capped at fifty points.

Mining stops when the lift cannot fit another yield unless automatic shipping is enabled. Offline catch-up uses the same capacity and production rules as live play. Nothing runs continuously in the background while the popup is closed.
