Copy and paste hasn't changed in decades, and the real process is longer than most people give it credit for.

• Highlight what you want — click, drag, release.
• Copy it — right-click and select, or Ctrl+C.

None of that sounds like much on its own. Call it ten seconds when everything goes smoothly, more like twenty when you have to hunt for the right window or scroll around to find your spot.
