    This extension doesn't work as expected:

    I'd like to use it to archive my article listings on eBay. If I save such a page using SingleFile and then open the saved page, the image magnifier and most other interactive elements do not work. This problem appears in every browser I have tested (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, all up to date at the time of writing). I already have unblocked every resource type in the "Network - blocked resources" section of the extension's options.

    Further investigation (looking at the console in Firefox) showed that Firefox wanted to load a bunch of scripts and other resources from the eBay website when opening the saved page. This failed due to the Content-Security-Policy, which is understandable. This means that SingleFile does not download scripts and other resources as expected, or does not save them locally, or does not change the URLs of such resources in the saved page so that the resources' local versions are used when opening the saved file.

    Given that, the extension is not usable for me. At least, it doesn't provide anything that "File -> Save Page As ..." does not provide as well (I don't care whether or not a saved page is contained in a single file, and every browser except Firefox can save a page to a single file anyway).

    This is a known issue, you can find more info here: https://github.com/gildas-lormeau/SingleFile/blob/master/faq.md. Although, with your level of requirement, you should save page in the WARC format. This is probably your only hope of saving the web page properly.

    The purpose of SingleFile is to save the page in a single file in a standard, durable format - that's what the extension is all about.

    Incredibly useful, especially for archiving pages. Instead of printing a page as a PDF for your records, this will be the new gold standard.

    Отличное дополнение, благодарю автора! Все заявленные опции работали без нареканий. Теперь о проблеме.
    После обновления SingleFile до версии 1.21.60, расширение перестало работать. Нажимаю как раньше «Сохранить страницу» и ничего не происходит. Перезапускал (вкл/откл) дополнение, сбрасывал настройки — не помогло. Браузер использую Firefox 91.4.1esr на системе windows-7-x64.
    На страницу расширения на сайте github.com заходил, но там всё на английском; к сожалению разобраться не смог.

    Дополняю отзыв 1 сентября 2023 г. В обновлении SingleFile до версии 1.21.63 неисправность устранена. Всё работает без проблем. В персональных настройках дополнения ничего менять не пришлось.

    Спасибо. Мне удалось воспроизвести и устранить регрессию в Firefox 68. Исправление будет доступно в следующей версии. Вероятно, она будет доступна для загрузки примерно через неделю.

    Wow,this extension was so satisfying that nearly all website could be saved, but there is a little bug that it couldn' t work on the website written by Java.And the extension couldn't save the .gif on website. Hope the developer could fix it for promotion.

    Awesome !
    Suggestion for improvement : extend the option of "saving = filesystem" with the choice of folder. Currently, it saves the file in the Download folder. There is plenty of option for the filename, but none for the file location.

    This is due to "protected" images like on weibo or sspai. You have to enable the option `Network > pass "Referer" header after a cross-origin request error` in SingleFile to fix this.

    Top extension! The downloaded HTML file can be viewed offline. I tested dozens of extensions and this was the only one that performed this task perfectly. Congratulations to the developers.

    This is an amazing addon, however I would love to see a field where I can input usernames to replace or remove when it saves

    Thank you for the review and the kind words! Enabling the option 'File name > open the "Save as" dialog to confirm the file name' should fix your issue.
