And not open-source to see contents or frequency of it.Developer response
posted pirms 5 stundāmHello! We'd like to assure you that the FDM extension only transmits the essential data required to initiate downloads in the FDM client, precisely as it used to. The recent implementation of the anonymous data usage notifications was done solely to comply with Mozilla’s requirements. We value your privacy and are committed to maintaining transparency concerning data usage. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18665868, pirms 16 dienām
- Rated 1 out of 5by gelonimo, pirms 23 dienāmit doesn't work, just stuck at "loading" text. And yes, I've got the FDM software, it doesn't open neither.
I greatly reccomend everyone to avoid this extensionDeveloper response

Could you please provide us with more details about the problem you're experiencing using the following form: https://www.freedownloadmanager.org/support.htm - Rated 4 out of 5by edenflare, pirms mēnešaDoesn't work downloaded something and it just shows up loading in the extension, also I even if it did work I doubt it can auto resume downloads.
Sorry this needs updating bad. Also your forced to allow anonymous data usage to them, which is like totally wrong to force people to use the app to force anonymous data usage, the choice is there for a reason right?
Ok I'll give it one last shot thanks, i can't find the auto resume setting? I'd like f or it to save my settings when I Set it to not catch any downloads on any site, everytime I reboot firefox, it resets that option and I have to select it again. I'ts not bad and it's almost perfect, but there's room for improvement.Developer response

If you encounter any other issues, please feel free to contact our support team through this form: https://www.freedownloadmanager.org/support.htm. As for the anonimous data usage notification, we assure you that the FDM extension only transfers data necessary to launch downloads into the FDM client, just as it did before. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12335118, pirms mēnešaI've used FDM for decades. Being forced to enable "anonymous" data collection is a true ensh*ttification. I will look for alternatives. 1/5 because I can't give it 0/5. Awful.

Note the add-on does not function if you decline data collectionDeveloper response
posted pirms 3 mēnešiemGreetings! The FDM extension requires permissions to be able to intercept audio and video downloads (some of downloads are cached by the browser and thus it's required to have access to the browser history). If you're referring to other types of data collection, kindly contact the support team using the form found on the official FDM website.
